Aeronet Los Angeles Relocates to a Remodeled Facility, Expanding its Capacity 600%

The move gives Aeronet a state-of-the-art West Coast gateway to handle its growing international business.

Earlier this month, Aeronet Worldwide® moved its Los Angeles area gateway to a much-expanded facility in Dominguez Hills, California. The move puts Aeronet within 11 miles of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and 6 miles from the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. The facility is also in close proximity to Interstate Highways 405, 710, 110, and California State Route 91.

The newly remodeled facility marks a significant increase in physical space to 120,000 square feet. Given the company’s continued emphasis on building international business, and an additional focus on ocean freight, Aeronet leadership feels this is the right move. “We needed a premier gateway station that could handle a greater volume, and put us on the map as an elite international freight forwarder,” said Anthony N. Pereira, Aeronet’s Chairman and CEO. The gateway facility will service Asia, Australia, and various points across the Pacific Ocean.

The Los Angeles station remains under the leadership of long-time Aeronet Associate, Senior Vice President and General Manager Bob Turner. It is now located at: 2500 S. Edison Way, Dominguez Hills, CA 90220.

This move is one of Aeronet’s relocation efforts to larger facilities, including its Chicago and Dallas-Fort Worth locations. Additionally, the company has embarked upon strategic international joint ventures covering the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Canada, and Australia.
