Aeronet assisted in the donation of 10,000 surgical masks to Operation Be Kind. The organization is endeavoring to provide essential medical equipment to medical professionals, and also provide safe masks to senior citizen communities.
The masks were secured, via donation, from China. Aeronet donated its logistics services, picking up the cargo at Los Angeles International Airport, and delivering it to our LA warehouse — taking all necessary safety precautions. Operation Be Kind came to our facility on April 1 to collect the masks. From there, Operation Be Kind hit the road to distribute to local hospitals in dire need of supplies. The exchange at Aeronet Los Angeles drew coverage from local news outlets, KCAL 9 and Spectrum News 1. Definitely a nice story to inject into the news cycle.
